Three generations, one garage
TRF Motorsports by ConFab Performance & Machine is a family shop in Seminole, Florida, run by Steve and Conner Marks.
It started with a race car
TRF Motorsports began in 1995 because Steve Marks needed somewhere to keep his race car. He shared a shop with his father, started working on his friends' race cars, and it snowballed from there.
Steve drag raced for 20 years through the '80s and '90s, running Super Gas and events like the Gatornationals across Florida, Georgia and Alabama. Along the way he built hundreds of muscle cars around Pinellas County and became the person other shops send the problems they can't diagnose, especially wiring.
The name, ’Til Rods Fly, started as an inside joke among friends. It stuck.
ConFab Performance & Machine followed in 2025, when Conner set up the machining and fabrication side so the work could fit around family. Today the two run together: buying and selling classic muscle, inspecting cars for buyers, and restoring the cars and trucks that roll through the shop.
It's still a family operation. The people who answer the phone are the people working on your car, and they'll tell you straight what it needs and what it doesn't.
